How to create and post a job position

Create a job position and post it with a single click across your job boards and social media channels.

Create a Position

To start creating a position, you need to be in the "Open Positions" or "Closed Positions" section (1) and then click on "New Position" (2), which will take you to the job form.

If the "New Position" button is not visible, it means you have exceeded the limit of active positions in your plan. You can close a filled position to publish a new one or upgrade your plan to allow more positions.

Crea Una Posición

Duplicate from another position

You can create an offer based on previously created ones, allowing you to duplicate and save time. All fields will be pre-filled (including open and closed questions), but you can modify any necessary fields.

Duplica a partir de otra posición

Description

Fill in all the necessary fields. Remember that fields marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory.

Language

The "Language" field allows you to select different languages to publish your offer. For example, if you choose "English," all standard fields of the offer (Sector, Discipline, Location, etc.) will be displayed in English for the candidate. You need to enter the offer content already translated into English.

Idioma

Once you have created a position in a language, you cannot change it later. You can only translate it into other languages.

Example of an English position

By selecting the "English" language option, all candidate emails received from Talent Clue will be in English. Click here to configure the candidate message templates in English.

In the "Vacancies" field, enter the number of candidates you need for this position.

Job Title and Department

These sections will only be present if categories have been created for each of them from the Parent Company. If you want to learn how to create job title and department categories for your company, refer to the articles "Creating and Adding Job Title Categories to Your Offers" and "Creating and Adding Company Departments to Your Offers."

Location

Specify the location of your offer to attract candidates from the area.

Remember that if you don't specify a location, the chances of candidates finding the offer on job boards and other channels decrease.

If the position doesn't have a specific location, select the checkbox "This position does not have a specific location." However, after that, select the country in the "Locate the position" field.

You cannot create a position with multiple locations. If necessary, you will have to duplicate the position to publish it with different locations.

Conditions

Salary is not a mandatory field, so you can choose to publish offers without this information.

When you publish the offer on different job boards, many of them may require you to fill in the "Salary" field as an extra field. Talent Clue allows you to hide it so that it is not visible to the candidate. If you publish with the salary and these job boards require it as a mandatory field, don't worry, it will not be published.

Candidate Requirements

Provide detailed candidate requirements in this field.

Requisitos del Candidato

Killer Questions

Get to know your candidates better by asking them questions. When they apply for the offer, they must answer these questions, and you can score them based on their responses. The questions can be open-ended or multiple-choice. You can create up to 4 open-ended questions and 8 multiple-choice questions, which will help you screen candidates. If a candidate is disqualified based on the score, they will be automatically sent to the "Disqualified" folder, and if configured, they will also receive an email notifying them of their disqualification. To configure the message a candidate receives if they are disqualified based on a killer question, go to "Settings" - "Candidate Message Templates" - template "Candidate Disqualified by KQ."

Killer Questions

If you activate the Killer Questions discard template, the candidate will receive this email 24 hours after his discard.

Internal codifications

Video Interviews in Hireflix: You will need to select the position in your Hireflix account to which you want to link the job listing you are creating. Notifications regarding the video interview will always be sent from Hireflix.

Tag: Tag your job listings based on, for example, which internal client has the need (Legal Department, Production, etc.), which recruitment specialist is managing the process (Sergio, Ana, etc.), among others. Tags will allow you to filter the processes by concepts for tracking purposes. If you want to know how to configure multiple tags, you can see it in the Tags section.

Interview Notes: Associate the interview note templates that you create in the Settings. This way, you can standardize the information and make it accessible to all your colleagues. The interview note selector allows you to choose from the configured interview note templates, so you can select the one you will use when managing the candidates for this job listing.

"I don't want to distribute this job listing on any publication channel": You can create a job listing and mark it as "Not publishable." This will block it and prevent it from being published on any channel. It was designed for extremely confidential processes to prevent them from being accidentally shared from Talent Clue.

"I want this job listing to be confidential": If you have an owner role, you can create completely confidential positions for your selection processes. No member of your team (not even other owners or administrators) will be able to access your position unless you invite them. Here is a link for more information on confidential positions. Remember that once the job listing is created, you cannot undo this option.

Stages Template and Candidate Application Form

You can choose the stages template and registration form you need. Keep in mind that once the position has any registrations, you won't be able to change the stages template.

Header Image and Mobile Recruiting (B4Work)

Add a photo to make the job listing more attractive to candidates.

Review the position

After filling in all the job listing details and saving it, the system generates a "Preview" where you can view it as a recruiter or candidate. This is a preliminary step before publishing and ensures that all the information is correct.

Post from "Open Jobs"

First, access "Open Positions" from the top menu. Then, expand the menu located next to the gear icon for the desired position and click "Publish" to proceed with publishing the job listing on distribution channels.

Post from within a job

You can also access the "Publish" page from within the job listing. In the top right corner, there is a toolbar with a speaker icon. Click there to start publishing.

Display configuration

ATTENTION

It is crucial to configure the display of your job listing before publishing it. In other words, you need to choose which fields should be visible or not in your job listing.

If you change the display of the job listing after publishing it, these changes will not be reflected. Therefore, you would have to unpublish the job listing and publish it again with the corresponding display changes.

To avoid this issue, it's better to configure the display in the first place.

From the "Publish" page, you can hide certain fields so that they are not visible to candidates. Before publishing the job listing, click the black "Configure Display" button.

Configurar Visualización

General settings

Hide your company name and/or salary. If you mark these fields, they will not be visible to the candidate. After marking them, remember to save the changes.

IMPORTANT: Some job portals require an additional service to publish hidden job listings. Remember that if you haven't subscribed to this service, Talent Clue cannot publish your job listings in a hidden manner.

Public URL

Use this link to publish the job listing on social media platforms not offered by Talent Clue or to send it via email to candidates. This way, candidates can access the job description and apply for the position.

You can also use the URL to publish on portals that are not yet integrated. Although you will have to manually publish on these portals, the advantage is that candidates who apply through the URL will be directly sent to your process in Talent Clue.

Post on multiple channels from the "Posting" page

In the selected column, you have a variety of channels (job portals, universities, business schools, professional associations, etc.). Select the ones where you want to post the job listing and click "Publish." Some are free, and others require payment. For many of them, you will need to have an account on that portal, and for paid ones, you need to have available credits to post the job listings. Before publishing, go to "Settings" - "Publication Channels" - "Credentials" and enter the access keys for the portals you are going to use. You only need to do this once.

What does "Use Your Credit" mean?

"Use your credits" means you need to have a balance available on each of the portals that indicate it.

Talent Clue acts as a "gateway" for publishing and collecting candidates from these channels. You cannot create accounts on the portals or purchase credits directly from Talent Clue.

Credenciales incorrectas

When you publish your job listings on the channels and encounter any issues with one of them, you will receive an email from Talent Clue indicating the reason for the issue and how to solve it.

One of these errors is "Incorrect Credentials." This error occurs when Talent Clue detects that the access keys you entered for that portal are incorrect. Do you remember how to enter the credentials? Take a look at the "Settings" by clicking here.

Current status

Republish: Using the arrow icon, you can republish the job listing on that channel. This option is useful, for example, for positions that have been open for a long time and may be forgotten on your Facebook wall. In this case, you can click the round arrow icon ("Publish"), and the job listing will reappear at the top of your timeline.

Delete: Using the "X" icon ("Delete"), you can remove the job listing from a specific channel, and it will be automatically deleted from that channel.

Archive: Some portals allow you to archive the job listing from Talent Clue. It will be archived on that portal automatically.
